Nevermore2024
Get ready to embrace the macabre and unleash your creativity at the Emmaus Arts Commision’s 20th Annual Student Film Festival: Nevermore 2024. This annual Student Film Festival event invites middle and high school students from across the Greater Lehigh Valley to showcase their filmmaking talents with a chilling Edgar-Allan-Poe-inspired twist. Registration opens Friday, December 13th, and participants will receive a welcome email detailing rules and regulations on December 20th. The festival culminates in a spellbinding premiére and awards ceremony on Sunday, February 2nd, at 2 PM at the historic Emmaus Theatre. Participants get dressed to impressed at our gala event to celebrate their films.
Watch as the eerie and imaginative films come to life on the big screen, followed by a celebration honoring winners in 14 categories. Whether you’re a budding director or a fan of Poe’s haunting tales, this event is not to be missed!
The Student Film Festival hosted by the Emmaus Arts Commission is a chance to promote inclusivity in our community with films made by students from various age groups and locations. Students may be located at any school or learning environment in and around the Greater Lehigh Valley within grades 6-12, or work with at least one student that age. Our goal is to give students interested in film, writing, editing, music, and visual effects, and acting an opportunity to show their work in a theatre and a chance to win in one of our award categories. Film entries are open to animated or other artistic avenues, pending approval.
Thank you for participating in EAC’s 20th Annual Student Film Festival. This event celebrates the creativity, teamwork, and dedication to the arts, cinema, and design abilities of our youth in the greater Lehigh Valley area.
We are still looking for sponsorships, presenters, and judges. Please reach out to us if you are interested in participating in some way. We are happy to have returning students who have graduated and would like to share their experiences with our participants.
