Emmaus Arts Commission Photo Contest & Fundraiser Winners Announced!

Thank you to everyone who supported us for our 3rd annual Photo Contest! We had a nice crowd viewing the dozens of photo entries.
We're pleased to announce the winners:

EAC December 3, 2016 Photography Contest and Fundraiser

Amateur and professional photographers are invited to participate in the 3rd annual Emmaus Arts Commission’s Photo Contest and Fundraiser on Saturday, December 3.

There will be three categories of entrants – students grades 6-12, adult nonprofessional and adult professional and this year there will be three themes for submissions

  • The Beauty of Emmaus
  • Pet Portrait
  • Reflections in Nature.

Photographers may choose from the three categories and submit up to two prints from each category at $5.00 each. Entries must be submitted at Emmaus Borough Hall on or before 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 1, at which time the non-refundable $5.00 per entry is paid with a check payable to the Emmaus Arts Commission (No Cash).

  • Submissions will be accepted at Emmaus Borough Hall, 28 S. 4th St., Emmaus, PA 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. from 11.21.16- 12.1.16.
  • Photographs may be from any of the three categories but only two from each category for a maximum of six submissions.
  • The entry form must be completed and attached to the back of each submission.
  • Entries are to be 8x10 photos with a mat that doesn’t exceed 16x20 without frames.
  • The entry fee is $5.00 per submission – 6 submissions maximum per person
  • Submissions become the property of the EAC and may be sold and/or raffled off at an EAC event as a fundraiser. 
  • Photographs must be originals taken in 2016.
  • No drone photographs
  • Judging will be done by local photography experts
  • Photographers are encouraged to include contact cards with their submissions that will be available at the event.
  • 300 DPI minimum
  • Shoot creatively, not literally
  • Have fun!
