The Community Center for the Arts, dedicated in May 2013, is located in the Emmaus Borough Town Hall at 28 S. 4th Street in Emmaus.  With support from monies raised by the Emmaus Arts Commission, the building’s second floor hallway, community room, and borough hall chambers have been transformed into a facility that promotes both the visual and performing arts.  Among the events planned for the center are a variety of year-round exhibitions; concerts; lectures; poetry readings; and arts education programs including classes in drawing, art history, creative writing, and film and video.

The Center is designed to build a sense of community and serve as a gathering place for people of all ages to explore the arts, enhance their creativity, and gain awareness of existing arts and cultural resources available to them.  Future exhibits will showcase the work of local artists, including paintings, photography, textiles, sculptures, and other art.
